She has a cat of her own named William and she has loved pets since she was little. Cierra is one of the first faces you will see and will always greet you with a smile!

Sydney - Reception and Vet Tech

Sydney is a Louisiana native who has always had a passion for animals. From a young age she was involved in equestrian riding and volunteering at local animal shelters. Sydney has studied at LSU with a double major in Biology and Animal Sciences. Her goal is to attend professional school and one day become a veterinarian herself. In addition to small animals, she also has hands-on experience with poultry, swine, equine, and bovine species. When she’s not in clinic or in school, Sydney enjoys spending time with her two dogs Paisley Anne and Baker Beans.

Kaleigh

Kaleigh is originally from Sterlington, LA and is set to graduate with a Veterinary Technology degree in May 2023. She is on track to pass the VTNE and Louisiana Boards Exam to become a Licensed Veterinary Technician in Louisiana. Kaleigh also takes pride in being a full time student, while working full time, and loving on her 14 month old daughter, Ivy. Kaleigh has a beautiful orange female tabby named Sunny, and that’s exactly what she is, a ray of sunshine. Kaleigh’s skills and interest vary to all animal species throughout the veterinary field. Kaleigh’s favorite thing to do at our clinic is scaling and polishing your pet's teeth, so come see her for a dental cleaning!

Emma

Emma is originally from Port Neches, TX, and currently studies Animal Sciences on the Pre-Veterinary track at Louisiana State University. She is in the Block and Bridle Club and Pre-Veterinary Club at LSU where she spends time volunteering at rodeos and animal shelters. Emma has always had a love for horses, and a dream of hers would be to become an equine veterinarian. In her free time, Emma rides horses with the LSU equestrian team and teaches her Siamese cat, Mocha, new tricks.

Halle

Halle’s hometown is Pineville, Louisiana. She is a junior at LSU majoring in Animal Sciences with plans to attend vet school. As a member of the Pre-Veterinary Club and Kappa Kappa Gamma, she takes part in numerous volunteer and philanthropy events. Halle has experience with volunteering at animal shelters, shadowing small and large animal veterinarians, and working with exotic pets. Growing up with pets (dogs, cats, birds, and fish!) is one reason Halle decided on this career path, but she also enjoys the different challenges that walk through the CHVC’s doors each day. Halle’s favorite part of the week is surgery and dental mornings.

Elizabeth

Originally from New Orleans, Louisiana, Elizabeth has a little over two years of experience working in veterinary clinics. Majoring in Animal Sciences at LSU, she plans to attend vet school. As a sister in Sigma Alpha, both a national and professional sorority, she participates in multiple philanthropy events and volunteer opportunities. Elizabeth’s mother is a huge animal lover, and had many pets growing up including raccoons, dogs, rabbits, and even a squirrel! Elizabeth thoroughly enjoys her job, and looks forward to helping each client that comes to visit CHVC.

Lilli

Lilli was born and raised here, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She is currently working toward her Bachelor’s in Nursing at Fran U. Growing up Lilli enjoyed being surrounded by many animals such as dogs, cats, birds, fish, & rabbits! Lilli thoroughly enjoys hands-on experiences and getting to learn many new things every day at CHVC.

Serafina

Serafina was born in Houston, Texas and moved here to Baton Rouge 4 years ago. She is a student at LSU majoring in Animal Sciences with interests in veterinary medicine and animal behavior. Currently, Serafina is taking a break from her studies in order to gain hands-on experience in those interests where she has been working here at CHVC and as a dog trainer at Larry Benoit Dog Trainer and Dog Training Elite. She is a huge plant and animal lover, having over 50 plants in her apartment along with her 2 dogs and hamster. In her spare time, she enjoys painting, singing, and playing her various instruments such as the guitar and piano.

Miss L - Clinic Cat

Miss L has been a part of our clinic staff for about a year and a half now. She loves to supervise and make sure everything is in order. She loves to play with pens and take naps at the front desk after a long day of supervising. If you see her around the clinic, tell her hello!
