For this reason, Capital Heights Veterinary Clinic maintains an in-clinic diagnostic laboratory equipped with the latest technology that allows us to get results quickly and accurately.

Our in-house array of diagnostic tools includes hematology and chemistry analyzers as well as parasite and viral testing, urinalysis, and microscopy. This enables us to conduct complete blood counts, chemistry panels, fecal testing, heartworm, and parasite testing. The quick turnaround time of our in-house testing makes it possible for our veterinarian to give you a diagnosis and start treatment on the same day. If specialized testing is required, we can prepare samples to be sent out to a reference laboratory.
